As I sit on the couch writing this post, I have just finished food-prepping for the week, and the house now smells like pancakes and maple. I think I might have pancakes for dinner… Continue reading “Pumpkin Pancakes”
This is my Paleo & Keto friendly attempt at recreating a dish my mother used to make (which I loved) when I was a kid.
This dish is inspired by a killer chicken dinner I had with girlfriends in Revelstoke at a restaurant called Quartermaster Eatery. I’ll be the first to admit; it took me at least a dozen times of eating liver to actually find it tolerable. Not even tasty, tolerable. I probably ate it another dozen times after that to truly enjoy the flavor and texture.
Throughout my many years of eating a paleo diet, followed by many years of a cyclical ketogenic diet, I haven’t really experienced dessert cravings, other than during pumpkin season. Continue reading “Paleo Pumpkin Cake”
