I wanted something fresh and light for a nice summer meal and I already had the salad, but need a plan for the main event. As always I like to join opposite flavours in a dish and with a sweet, refreshing salad, a bit of spice was needed. Continue reading “Spicy Middle Eastern White Fish”

Macadamia Chicken Korma
For those of you who are into Indian cuisine as much as I am, Korma is probably not a new thing. I’ll just give you a quick breakdown just to make sure everybody knows what the heck I’m talking about here. Korma is a dish made of meat and/or vegetables braised in a spiced sauce mixed with yogurt, cream or nuts. Continue reading “Macadamia Chicken Korma”
Pico de Gallo
Pico is something I like to have a big batch of so I can use it with different recipes. It goes great on top of grilled chicken breast aka ‘pollo a la plancha’, it’s good on tacos, burritos, etc. Continue reading “Pico de Gallo”
Indian Butter Chicken
Indian butter chicken, one of my all time favourites. This is definitely one dish I’ve tried making at least 10 different ways. Traditional Guacamole
Is there anything guacamole doesn’t go with? Asides from maybe chocolate? I have just been throwing it on everything lately. On my eggs in the morning, on a chicken breast….I even tried it with blackened salmon the other day and it was just amazing. Continue reading “Traditional Guacamole”
Peanut Lime Dressing
This dressing can also be used as a chicken marinade and will make any salad or raw vegetable taste amazing!

Panang Prawn Curry
I am sure I have said it before on this blog but I’ll just say it again, I absolutely love curries! At this point if you’ve read a few of my posts you may have noticed I say this about most food. I love meat. Love chocolate (who doesn’t?). Love coconut. I could keep going for a while. But truthfully, curry is right at the top of my list. Continue reading “Panang Prawn Curry”
Asian Salad with Chicken Satay & Peanut Lime Dressing
This recipe was inspired by one of the most amazing salads I have ever had (in a restaurant). The place is called Olive & Gourmando, and is located downtown Montreal, near McGill University if I remember correctly, but don’t quote me on this. I try to make a point of visiting “La Belle Province” at least once every couple years, for one to see my family, but also to reconnect with my culture and most importantly, to eat.
