Nothing like a slow-cooker meal on a cold winter day, am I right? Even better, a slow-cooker chipotle chili waiting for you when you get home back from a day of skiing. Continue reading “Paleo Chipotle Chili”
I know I have mentioned this in prior posts but for anyone who doesn’t know this fun fact about me: I grew up in Quebec. Quebec, the land of baguettes, quiches, and bottles of wine Continue reading “Paleo Smoked Salmon Quiche”
“You can’t make everyone happy, you’re not an avocado.” is a quote I saw scrolling through my Instagram feed today. And I couldn’t agree more. Not only with the fact that mostly every single human being I’ve met likes avocado, because, well. Continue reading “Pico de Gallo Stuffed Avocados”
What do I want for dinner tonight? Steak! Mmm no I want salad. But I want steak too. How about a steak salad?
A friend of mine who was also my roommate for a while Continue reading “Steak Salad with Lime & Ginger Vinaigrette”
Good day, friends! Today I am sharing with you one of my all time faves, completely re-vamped with some new goodies on top. If you’ve read my blog a few times, it is no Continue reading “Zucchini Parpadelle with Mint Pesto”
Oh fish tacos, how I love you guys. I don’t have a massive story to tell about these, actually I may not have a story at all. It’s cold outside, and I need some comfort food. And it may not be the case for you but as far as I am concerned, spaghetti squash falls right into that category. I typically have a marinara sauce with my spaghetti squash but I just so happened to have some freshly made pesto and thought it might be a nice change.
When I make a salsa, it often involves fruit. My go-to’s are usually mango, pineapple and papaya. All of them being acidic fruits, they blend really well with the other ingredients such as cilantro, lime and jalapeños. Only problem is they are also tropical fruits which doesn’t make them a very eco-friendly option. Don’t get me wrong I don’t always use local products and I am as guilty as anyone of buying imported produce. Continue reading “Peach Salsa”
I really wish I had an exciting story to tell about this salad but the truth is, this is a pretty classic Tuna Nicoise. I did make a few changes but the essence of the traditional French salad remained 😉 I used asparagus instead Continue reading “Ahi Tuna Nicoise Salad”
