Is there anything guacamole doesn’t go with? Â Asides from maybe chocolate? Â I have just been throwing it on everything lately. Â On my eggs in the morning, on a chicken breast….I even tried it with blackened salmon the other day and it was just amazing.
Yes I know, avocados are really high in fats and if you are restricting your calories they might not be your best friend. Â Although restricting your fat consumption might seem like a good idea, it is actually doing the opposite of what you want. Â Which is burning fat right? Â Well in order to burn more fat one must eat more fat. Â True story. Â Not talking about greasy burger and fries here though so be careful when choosing your fats.
Good fats are unrefined, preferably animal fats such as wild fish, organic & grass-fed beef, organic & free-run eggs, ghee (clarified butter) Â and even the occasional dose of organic dairy from grass-fed cows can be very valuable. Â Nuts, seeds and avocados are also prime examples of fats that are easily absorbed and extremely beneficial for your body. Â They are all very good sources of omega 3 fatty-acids which are anti-inflammatory.
However, try to minimize your consumption of vegetable fats for they are very rich in omega 6 fatty-acids which are very inflammatory.  Example of “bad fats” are soy, peanut, corn, safflower, sunflower, and canola oil that have been refined. They  are highly susceptible to oxidation during processing, which makes them reactive and damaging to the body.
Asides from boosting your body’s fat-burning ability, healthy fats have a wide range of health benefits.
